- Breakfast, 8 a.m. - 9 a.m., Dining Centers
- Passages Check-in/Information, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Programming Office, Bone Student Center, Room 106 If you haven't done so this week, pick up your Passages meal ticket, get your program materials, and receive your Planner identifying all the details about this exciting weekend.
- **University College Advisor Meetings, 9 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Various academic buildings Find out what it takes to make a successful transition to college and how your University College academic advisor can help. Meeting is mandatory.
- **Academic Department Meetings, 9:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Various Academic Buildings Learn about the academic expectations and opportunities in your specific major or area of interest by meeting representatives from the departments/colleges. Secondary education majors (history education, English education, etc.) should attend the meeting of their major instead of the College of Education meetings. Meetings are mandatory.
- **Convocation, 11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. , Braden Auditorium, Bone Student Center Participate in this formal welcome to campus. You'll learn about the culture and traditions of Illinois State, and the civic and academic expectations of the University. Enjoy this first official activity as the Class of 2013. All first year students are required to attend.
- Lunch, 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., Dining Centers
- **Technology QuickStart, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m., College of Business Building, Room 139These one-hour technology orientation sessions provide vital information about the technology you'll use at Illinois State. Required for all new students. Attend the session you signed up for at Preview. Haven't registered or forgot your session time? Contact us.
- **End of Racism Tour - Commedian Preacher Moss, 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., Braden Auditorium, Bone Student Center
Take a sneak peak of Preacher Moss in action.
- Rec Center Open House, 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., Recreation Center Enjoy sand volleyball, contests and more. Walk to the Recreation Center or take the Bloomngton/Normal city bus - pink line from Watterson Towers to the corner of Beech and Willow Streets.
- Dinner, 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Dining Centers Enjoy dinner with your new friends and other students living in your residence hall and get ready for an evening of fun.
- Free Ice Cream Social, 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. Milner Plaza Join us for free ice cream, provided compliments of Freshens and Campus Dining Services.
- "Rec on the Road" Classes, 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., north end of the Quad Join Recreation Services for "Zumba," the new fitness craze that fuses Latin-based rhythms with motivating music and unique moves.
- Free Bowling, Billiards and Karaoke, 7:30 p.m. - 11 p.m., Bowling & Billiards Center The night's just begun! Enjoy free bowling, billiards, video games, sing your favorite tunes, meet other students, and enjoy an evening of fun activities. Your Redbird ID card is required.
- Meijer Mania, 9 p.m. - 12 a.m.
Meijer Superstore, 1900 E. College Avenue, Join Bloomington/Normal’s local Meijer Superstore for a fun-filled evening of activities, including: live entertainment, a game show, DJ, and prizes. Free food, special store discounts, and much more will be provided. Transportation to/from campus and Meijer will be provided.
